Hey. I'm Emmies. This is my rather glamorous new blog. I've never had a blog before, but since I'm making new content all the time, I thought it's about damn time I get my own. I will probably post random in-game crap here as well, so be prepared for terrible screenshots, puddingy sims and wonky shit.
</nobodycares>

My policy is very simple. Do whatever the hell you want with my stuff, as long as you credit me, and keep it off paysites. Do NOT upload them to TSR under any circumstances.

So I finally finished the set. Here's the 3 custom roads from Bridgeport; an industrial one, a tarmac one and the main city one which includes these amazing red brick crosswalks. :)

City Roads

Tarmac Roads

Industrial Roads

Installation instructions:
1) Download and unzip
2) Put these files in Documents > Electronic Arts > Create-A-World Tool > UserToolData > SourceTextures.
3) In CAW's roads tab: Create Custom Road> Give it a name > Select your files > Press the 'Ok' button > done!

Download

Some known issues with these: In the tarmac road set, you can't place road intersections. Seriously, just don't. There are no proper corner textures. This is because CAW has no way of handling opacity maps for corners, so I couldn't fix it even if I wanted to, but on any road without an intersection, these textures look fabulous.

Here's my update for today. There's not much to say really, this is my new city dweller, Jonathon. I'm hoping to use him to start a legacy in Bridgeport when Late Night comes out, fingers crossed he'll make a good founder. If anyone wants him, I'll put him up for download, but since my sims aren't exactly the best I don't think it's worth bothering.

Hello! Today I've made a new wall. Or converted it at least. (I must be going crazy, wall-making is way too addictive) It was originally by Christing at Parsimonious, but I converted it for use in the sims 3. Anyway, basically I wanted a new wall that would look nice when patterned, so here it is.

It can be found in Build Mode > Walls > Panelling, and it has 2 channels.

Look who's been actually playing the game! Or creating for it at least. I'm currently in the process of making a world. I've only done sections of it. But I thought I might show them off in the meantime.

There's also 3 new sims which are going to become townies for the world. I'm not great at making female sims, but for now, here's some yummy guys.

Tamo showed me a new method of doing lighting today. She's my favourite maxis match artist, and although I couldn't live without my huge CC folder, she's certainly shown me that you don't have to drown yourself in CC just to get pretty pictures. So here's some obligatory Jake (the dude with blue hair above) picspam.

So here's my first actual contribution to this site, mainly because  I'm too lazy I've had a lot of stuff to do. A while ago, crushthecamera  made a beautiful wall set for ts2, using textures by Poe extracted from left4dead. Unfortunately, I don't own a copy of the sims 2, so I converted them for use in my own game, and somebody suggested I should share too.

The textures you see in this were mainly by crushthecamera (who got them from Poe), but I switched the base board and got rid of the grunge just above it, so it would look better when tiled. I also added a specular, so it shines in all the right places, and remains matte in the others. :]

You can find the wall in walls > paint, and it has 3 channels.
